Woodbridge Art Club Paintings

In addition to pottery and lacework, our exhibitions typically display well over a hundred paintings or drawings, all for sale. All are original works, no reproductions are allowed. Prices are very reasonable, bearing in mind that pictures are sold framed. Our members range from keen amateurs to those of professional standard, and prices vary to reflect this. Why not visit us and buy a souvenir or a present? Some of our artists are very popular with our visitors. If you see something you really like it may not pay to think of coming back to buy it next week. It may well be gone.

Every member of the Club is entitled to enter two paintings for an exhibition and to replace an item which is sold. At intervals, paintings on display may be changed for new ones, so the exhibition is continually changing. In addition to framed pictures we have a small number of unframed pictures on display.

In accordance with UK copyright law, when pictures are sold the artist retains copyright, unless this is negotiated separately.

Items purchased may be taken immediately. We take cash or cheques but regret that we are unable to take card payments. There are several cash dispensing machines in Thoroughfare, a few minutes' walk away. The nearest is at HSBCbank. From the club, walk back to Quay Street (50 yards), turn right (50 yards), turn left up Brook Street, turn right for 20 yards on Thoroughfare. Items can be reserved against a small non-returnable deposit and collected later the same day or on a subsequent day when the exhibition is open.
